Perfectly situated in heart of London, the Royal Lancaster hotel is only a 15 minute walk away from Oxford Street, we were invited to stay at the exquisite Park Suite named for their beautiful views of Hyde Park and the Italian gardens. We were lucky to be staying there in January to witnessed the famous London skyline and enjoy the views of the Winter Wonderland.
The Royal Lancaster has an elegant and contemporary design combined with a spacious living area, bedroom and chic modern comforts and technology. We really were taken in by the gorgeous marble bathroom features, twin sinks, large bath and a shower. That’s total relaxation in our book! We also had the opportunity to view the lavish Royal Suite while we were there. This is where elegance and class meets breathtaking panoramic views, and was the highlight of our stay here.
On the 1st floor of the hotel is the restaurant Nipa Thai, which has a stunning atmosphere overlooking Hyde Park. This really is an amazing Thai restaurant, with all the furniture shipped from Thailand, and the waiting staff and chefs are all Thai, so it’s a truly authentic Thai experience. Nipa Thai is famous for serving the most delicious traditional Thai cuisine in London, and it did not disappoint. We opted 3 course menu and traditional Thai wine and was very impressed with the quality, service and deliciousness of the food. Cornish crab and scallops were equally fantastic!
